- Easy to use: the installation process is simple and quick. All you need to do is spread the mortar, lay the tile and place the bases under the tiles on all 4 sides. Then, insert the wedges into the bases and adjust the pieces with the pliers to achieve perfect alignment. Wait until the mortar has set as recommended by the mortar manufacturer and tap the base with the rubber mallet or the toe of the foot, always in the direction of the joint.
